Abstract

This paper analyzes several textbooks corresponding to the 4th level of Secondary Education and 2nd level of Bachillerato in the autonomous community of Andalucía, in which we asses the approach to the Spanish Civil War (regarding contents resources, methodology and activities). Furthermore, we introduce information about a research fieldtrip made with our students of the Master’s Teacher Program of the University of Jaén, which in our view contributes to the formation of a citizenship respecful of democratic principles and values
