Resumen
In the European framework of Upper Education, it´s very important the development of the students professional skills for them to get a job. This new view to these competences will have a direct effect on the teaching and evaluation methodology from part of the university teachers. But, for this system to be effective and to get the best outcomes, it must has the participation of both parts in the learning process, especially the students. This paper tries to analyse, according to employers, ex-students and students related to business subjects at the University of Jaén, which skills are the most wanted to get a job. The skills to analyse are those exposed in the Tuning Educational Structures in Europe Inform, financed by the European Commission in the framework of the Socrates Programme 2003 and those in the White Book of the Grade Title in Business in the European Framework of Upper Education 2005. The questions used for this investigation has been obtained form the Tuning Inform for the Business Area. They have been separated into two groups: the first one to anlyse general skills and the second one to study those specific for this area. The outcomes confirm, in general, our hypotheses.
