Abstract
The aim of this paper is to analyze the way Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz represents "the art of writing" in her own poems. So, it concerns meta-literary aspects of Sor Juana's poetics: it applies the pattern that classical rhetorics suits, in order to classify images showing how texts emerge inside the poem. These images appear so often in Sor Juana's work, that they can be taken as an example of her ((Baroque", but also as an evidence of the identification between literature and writing that definitely caracterise this period
