Resumen
Antecedentes: El objetivo de esta revisión sistemática fue investigar los efectos de programas de entrenamiento de alta intensidad en el rendimiento cognitivo (RC) y académico (RA) en adolescentes. Método: Los estudios se identificaron en dos bases de datos (PudMed y Scopus) desde enero de 2015 hasta el 28 de febrero de 2019. Tras el filtro, y según los criterios de búsqueda, se seleccionaron 7 estudios de intervención utilizando programas de alta intensidad (HIIT) o alta intensidad cooperativa (C-HIIT). Resultados: Los resultados de esta revisión sugieren un efecto positivo de realizar HIIT o C-HIIT sobre variables cognitivas y académicas en adolescentes. Conclusión: Se sugiere la implantación de programas activos de alta intensidad, especialmente de carácter cooperativo, en el contexto escolar.
