Abstract
Just as the phenomenon of violence is a growing feature of our societies, even of the developed ones, which in many aspects of it defines and characterizes certain types of relationships, it is also present as such in work environments, materializing from very various forms. If the statistics and specialized studies in the subject are valued, the second psychosocial risk in quantitative importance stands out, behind work stress. Consequently, it is important to delimit this type of occupational risk conceptually, as well as to address its preventive technical-legal characterization, in order to adequately undertake the evaluation and planning of measures that eliminate such occupational risks.
