Abstract

The concept of pedagogical tact is based on the contributions of Van Manen (1998). This author of Dutch origin, Professor of Pedagogy at the University of Alberta (Canada) presents a version of traditional descriptions and purely instrumental pedagogical approaches that refer to educator-educator interactions. Although from the knowledge of psycho-pedagogical approaches based on skills, dimensions and studies of Psychology and Pedagogy describes a phenomenological and practical vision of teaching understood as a reflexive pedagogical activity, to define it as the way in which educators mature, evolve and deepen as a result of the fact of living with the children in a school or in any classroom. This bibliographic review has as main objective to present the reader dedicated to the teaching of children and young people a possibility of reflection in their teaching practice from the very identity of interpersonal relationships: vocation, moral intuition, sense of touch towards the subjectivity of the child, prudence, concern, affection, and a deep sense of responsibility in the education of the new generations, and on the other hand, are essential qualities for the exercise of a good teaching.
