Resum
Aim: To analyze the damping countermovement jump considering sex and body fat percentage. Methodology: 83 subjects of Secondary Education were analyzed; 46 boys (age = 15.98 ± 1.35 years ) and 37 girls (age = 15.43 ± 0.98 years ) by force platform and electrical bioimpedance. Results: PF1 and PF2 in men achieved higher results than women. In HL, men outnumber women. As for the percentage of fat in man no differences in the buffer variables were found, while in women differences were found in the jump high and PF1. Conclusion: Men damped worse than women. The fat percentage is not decisive in cushioning in men, but it is important in women. Jump height was the most determinant variable in jump damping.
