Abstract

Aim: Analyze the differences in the different variables of the capacity of explosive force of lower limbs by sex and cycle. Methodology: We worked with 253 primary school students, 137 boys (age= 8,5±2,0) and 116 girls (age= 8,4±1,8). Anthropometric assessment was performed by bioelectrical platform and jumping ability through CMJ test and ABK on force platform. Results: No significant differences between the results for boys and girls in different variables, except CMJ height in the second cycle, where the boys got a height greater were found. Conclusions: In the different stages of primary education does not appear to be significant differences between boys and girls in relation to the explosive force of lower limbs measured by CMJ jump and ABK.
