Resum

This article analyzes the way some people rejected Henry IV’s attitude toward the War of Granada. This king did not try to obliterate this Muslim Kingdom, despite the opinion of the aristocracy of the time, including those who were loyal to him. Even the chronicle of Miguel Lucas de Iranzo, one of the nobles loyal to the king, shows traces of criticism toward Henry IV’s strategy. This article aims to unveil the passages showing criticism in the "Hechos del Condestable Miguel Lucas" and examines the way in which they are conveyed in order not to seem unloyal to the king
