Resumen

Este trabajo analiza la influencia de la integración de la cadena de suministro en la implantación de capacidades de comercio electrónico. Para ello, se parte de que la relación entre implantación de TICs y eficiencia está determinada por el uso de estas tecnologías y que existe una correlación positiva entre la vinculación de la estrategia de la cadena de suministro con la estrategia empresarial y la adopción de comercio electrónico. Los resultados obtenidos en la industria del automóvil señalan que el nivel de integración de los flujos físicos en la cadena de suministro influye significativamente en el nivel de implantación de capacidades de comercio electrónico.
