Effects of combined electrostimulation and plyometric training on vertical jump and speed tests

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar la evolución del rendimiento de un grupo de atletas después de 8 semanas de entrenamiento que la electroestimulación combinada (NM ES) y pliometría (PT). 78 atletas de nivel medio sprinter participaron 40 mujeres y 38 hombres (edad, 15.9Ã, Â ± 1,4 años, índice de masa corporal, 20.5Ã, Â ± 1,68 kg/m2, peso 58.53Ã, Â ± 8,05 kg, altura, 1,68 Ã, Â ± 0,07 m). La muestra fue al azar en cuatro grupos [Control (sólo PT), NM ES + PT, PT + NM ES, y simultánea (saltos pliométricos se realizaron a través del paso de la corriente). Se obtuvieron mejoras en el salto Abalakov de 3,57% (p <0,01), 13,51% (p <0,001), 1,23% (p <0,01), y 0,77%, y en el sprint de 0,45%, 3,87% (p 0,05 < ), 4,56% (p <0,01) y 7,26% p <0,001 para el grupo de control, NM ES + PT grupo, PT + NM ES grupo, y el grupo simultánea, respectivamente. Se concluyó que a) la mejora en el salto vertical requiere de la aplicación de la ES NM antes de PT; b) el atleta velocista debe combinar el entrenamiento simultáneamente o después de aplicar el ES la formación PT, y c) en los deportistas que requieren mejora tanto el salto vertical y pruebas de velocidad (por ejemplo, baloncesto) el método simultáneo no es recomendable, el orden de aplicación de NM ES y PT no ser determinante. Finalmente, el tiempo necesario para obtener una mejora significativa en el entrenamiento de fuerza a través de una combinación de NM ES y PT es sustancialmente menor (15 días) que el tiempo necesario para mejorar la velocidad (30 días).
