Análisis de la exigencia competitiva del tenis en jugadores adolescentes

Resumen

Objetivo: El objetivo del presente estudio fue valorar la respuesta psico-fisiológica de jóvenes tenistas. Participantes: Se seleccionaron 8 jugadores de tenis de ámbito nacional (15.02 ± 2.01 años; 172.40 ± 8.02 cm, 63.21 ± 4.32 kg; 9.5 ± 1.3 años de experiencia). Método: Se evaluaron partidos individuales en tierra batida, jugados todos en las mismas condiciones. Los partidos fueron grabados (cámara digital SONY DCR_DVD92E), analizando la estructura temporal de los mismos: el tiempo total de juego (TT), tiempo real de juego (TR), tiempo de descanso (TD), número de puntos (NP), numero de golpeos por punto (GP) y la duración del punto (DP). A su vez, se registró la frecuencia cardiaca (FC) a lo largo del partido (Polar RS400), determinándose la concentración de lactato sanguíneo ([lac]) entre los cambios de campo (Lactate Pro), y la percepción subjetiva del esfuerzo (RPE) al finalizar cada juego (Escala Borg). Resultados: Los resultados indican una estructura temporal acorde a otros estudios, así como una FC media en torno a los 135 lat·min-1, 1.54 mmol·l-1 de lactato sanguíneo y un RPE en torno a 12. Este tipo de análisis son de vital importancia en el proceso de formación ya que contribuye a una mejor planificación del entrenamiento específico en jóvenes tenistas.
