Resumen

El presente artículo muestra el resultado de una investigación bibliométrica inédita sobre el área de conocimiento Expresión Gráfica en la Ingeniería, presente en las Universidades Españolas que cuentan con estudios de Ingeniería. Persigue dos objetivos: orientar a profesores que todavía no han publicado ningún artículo con visibilidad en las Bases de datos ISI, indicándoles las principales categorías de las revistas donde publican los profesores del área ya iniciados, así como las categorías de las revistas citadas, es decir, la fuente de la información y por último, mostrar a las autoridades universitarias la deficitaria situación del área en España, con objeto de que apoyen decididamente la misma.
