Abstract
The concept of "healthy secularity" becomes more and more usual in the Holy See speech and in its relations with states. This paper analyzes Pope Benedict XVI and his collaborators’ speech, and notes in it efforts to distinguish between secularity and secularism, as well as the ingredients of what would be a healthy secularity according to the Holy See: the recognition of religious freedom and its public dimension, the contribution of Church to society, the moral duty of societies toward the true religion and the autonomy of interreligious dialogue.
