Abstract

Abstract: In this paperwork we analyse the parody of the rhetoric uses in "Coloquio de los perros", taking into account the relevant role played by some humanistic dialogues. This parody calls into question the aesthetic and ideological proposal of "Guzmán de Alfarache" and also rediscovers the expressive strength of "Lazarillo". In "Coloquio de los Perros", the use of an autobiographical perspective, opposite to the author's implicit point of view, is directly linked to the ambiguity, "perspectivism", and irony of "Lazarillo de Tormes". Cervantes reestablishes some of those expressive possibilities of the primitive picaresque play that Mateo Alemán replaced in favour of the rhetoric.
