Abstract
Although there are a vast gamut of proposals for evaluating reaching materials, the situation gets worse when it comes to the field of ESP (English/or Specific Pursposes) reaching, in view of the scarcity of proposals. It being obvious that a large number of these criteria are coincidental both in the field of GE (General English) and ESP, it is nor less so that the distinctive features of ESP teaching should be contemplated in this evaluation. This work offers a personal assessment proposal for ESP textbooks at university level, an evaluation we understand as the process of matching the teacher's view of the reaching-learning process, together with the students' needs, and the material itself.
