Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the legal characteristics and the family structure related to marital conflict and its evolution throughout the last years. Family Meeting Point is one example of the context where this conflict could be faced. There was examined a total of 235 cases, between 2009 and 2013. It has been analyzed the typology of the legal procedures that are sent to these installations, so as the reason of its finalization and the length of the Public Service. Moreover, the ages of children that come to that Public Service are immersed in parental conflictive process and the modalities of the most usual visits regimes have been analyzed. A meaningful increase in cases in recent years analyzed was observed, the half of the files were provided by the Court of Domestic Violence. The considerable differences found in similar studies support the need of an agreement in the criteria and regulations among the different Autonomous Communities
