Zusammenfassung

The Centenillo can be considered such as a unique case to improve the Roman miner studies at Sierra Morena. Nowadays, it depends on a hamlet located in an isolate territory. It needs great investments to guarantee the preservation of this huge miner heritage after the miner activity has run out. The research projects about the Roman mine help to the global interpretation of this cultural landscape. It must be regulated by a legal protection and show such as a big open archaeological area.
