Resumen
The village of Galera has around 1200 residents and is located in the north of the province of Granada. The Museo de Galera, along with the archaeological sites of Castellón Alto and the Necropolis of Tútugi, form a patrimonial complex that has been open to the public for the last 16 years. In this time, its influence has been noticed, not only in the village, but also in the whole region, which has in the archaeological wealth one of the basis on which its development is based. The impact of this heritage, put at the service of the citizens, has been analyzed at different levels: patrimonial, cultural, social and economic, producing a very positive balance.
