Abstract

In this paper we analyze participation of women in family firms, especially the incorporation of daughters to family business. We have done a revision of literature about this issue, and interviewed twenty three women in depth. Main results are grouped and presented in three dimensions, each one in correspondence with the three well-differentiated following steps: education, socialization and formation (childhood and youth), incorporation to family business, and professional career and future vision
