Abstract

This book is the main outcome of the teaching/educational innovation project, approved and funded by the University of Jaén. The project has fostered interdisciplinary and cooperative team work among students and lecturers at the University of Jaén with a view to designing and piloting Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) materials in English for Primary and Secondary education. These materials focus on the arts and civilisation in the Roman and pre-Roman period, in particular at the archaeological site of Cástulo, located in the province of Jaén (southern Spain).
