Abstract
A Contribution to the Study of Silversmithing in the Early Modern Period aims at examining silversmithing during the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, when this creative practice acquired a special relevance. The contributions contained in this volume approach this topic in order to study and make known the artists and their works, as well as the working methods and techniques employed, and the materials and the types of pieces regularly used during the early modern period.
