El Urbanismo medieval de Jaén a través del documento escritola aplicación "Base de Datos"

Résumé

Our study is focused on the History of Urbanism at the Middle Age Jaen. To enhance that the parametre "water" has been taken to conduct it centered in the Raudal de la Magdalena, main watering course of the period after consulting documental and archaeological sources. In this paper we propose a data treatment form to study the sources' information extracted mainly at the city's archives (Archivo Histórico Diocesano, Archivo Histórico Municipal, Archivo Histórico Provincial). Human mind's limited data processing forces to work with a managament database application. Microsoft Access is a relational one which organized data in a listed, sytemic way that allows to cross data among sources (ecclesiastic and seglar acts, notary's protocols, archival files of later periods). At the same time allows to cross them with archaeological data. Fields and files entered will define each one of the documental information simplifying its contents to the maximum. Thus, although a reduction in information, eases the relation and combination of a large number of data helping the researcher's construction of an objetive reality upon History. This paper will show how data were treated: document transcription to a map illustrating the water course in the Middle Age from Fuente de la Magdalena and its relation with Jaen urbanism.
