Abstract

In arder to go deeply into the knowledge of the relationship between urban cultural tourist systems and creativity, it begins with an itinerary on the epistemology of the creativity, in arder to reach an operative definition that facilitates its valuation in tourist local systems. Then, it is studied the creative city and its adaptation to tourism so as to, later, approach the creation of a propasa! of tourist creative ecosystem. AII this leads to the creation of an aggregate synthetic index, named Creacity, which allows to know the weight of creativity in tourist destinations. This index takes the methodology of the DP2 indexes and is applied in twenty tourist spanish cities, with which it is possible to know the ranking of creativity. In its analysis, it establishes creative matrices of each one of the studied areas. Finally, the research discovers the linear correlation between creativity and tourist competitiveness.
