Laburpena

The aim of this research was to analyze and identify the variables that facilitate the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Elementary, Middle and High Schools in Andalusia (Spain). The experience and opinion of Teachers, ICT Coordinators and Principals were examined. This research studied the variables related to teacher experience and training in ICT, the use of digital technology in the classroom, the organization of the ICT school project, and the impact of ICT in the school context. Based on the non experimental or ex-post-facto methodology underlying this thesis, three different research studies were developed: a cross sectional study carried out in 2009 using a survey method (n=2030); a longitudinal trend study between 2009 and 2016 using a survey method (n=860); and a qualitative case study carried out in one exemplary ICT Elementary School.
