Abstract

Experimental study of a sample of 52 women aged between 65 and 80 years. The participants were divided into two groups: control and experimental. Both groups performed therapeutic exercise and the experimental group also complemented this program with a specific vibration training protocol. After 3 months of intervention, the group subjected to vibrations showed significant improvements in lower limb flexibility and agility in the control group. This group decreased blood pressure and the perimeter of the ankle as well as the symptoms and discomfort perceived by the urinary incontinence was observed. Increases were also checked the quality of life related to health, quality of sleep and quality of life related to urinary incontinence due to the attachment of vibration.
