Abstract

The objective of this thesis is the realization of a critical-analytical study of a corpus of songs from songbooks compiled by three women: Angela Capdevielle, Maria del Carmen Ibanez and Maria Dolores Torres. The work is divided into three parts: the first places the study in historical context art (music, folk music and literature) and the Spanish postwar role assigned to women in that periodo The second part is the exposure of the methodological framework that will govern the subsequent musical textual analysis (ethnomusicology, semiotics, gender, comparative literature) and its implications for the formation of feminine identity, which will be discussed in the part third.
