Abstract

This doctoral thesis aims to deep in the study of risk perception and propensity to sport accidcnt in elementary and high school students in schools in the province of Jaén. It consists in 3 studios, in the first of which examines how it affects gender and age as risk factors for perceiving the risk in physical and sp01ts activities in school, resulting significant differences in risk perception in terms of age; in the second study a questionnaire was designed to analyze the factors which determine the propensity of sports accident, resulting in significant differences in all factors relating to sex; and finally, in the third study we analyzed the effect of an Education Program of Security in physical and sports activities in the school, resulting in a significant increase (p <0.001) in terms of risk perception.
