Abstract
In this thesis we can observe the use of technologies by the carers, as a tool of integration and social inclusion in equality of opportunities in the society of knowledge. The work is based on the study of digital training of carers, in particular in the case of CUIDADANAS as a comprehensive support service to carers. The research distinguishes between carers who use and do not use Internet, and studies in depth into both profiles submitted depending on the use and digital training for them and the potential for the design of future programmes of intervention. With the research it is generated a tool that can improve the knowledge of informal carers of dependent persons in our country, using the own methods of this discipline and current theories of Social Work.
