Resumen

This thesis develops the fabrication of structural ceramic materials as sustainable as possible. Is focused, first of all, on raw materials. One of the objectives is based on the use of the minimum amount of clay, which is known as the main raw material of ceramics, with the purpose of not using finite minerals resources. Therefore, the lack of clay will be supplemented with the addition of technological nutrients, all of them classified as industrial waste. Thus is possible to avoid that lot of materials were disposed in landfills. Additionally, this thesis seeks that technological nutrients contain a certain amount of organic material, which provides energy towards the system and makes a sustainable manufacturing from energetic point of view. Stands out the using of RSF (Recovered Solid Fuel) from urban waste, which also solves another big problem. Finally, this thesis exposes that ceramic material presents very interesting thermal properties, lower the bulk density and the higher the porosity.
