Abstract

Characterization of the process of romanization in the countryside of Jaén through contacts between indigenous communities and romano Definition of the models of occupation of the Iberian and Roman conquest itself, and the transformation of the landscape. In the second part deals with the development of the colonization of the territory and their farm between the I and 11 centuries B.C., its forms of construction and agricultural techniques applied, with special emphasis on the development of irrigation as production system of surplus of rice, as well as the social relations that are derived from this form of exploitation of the territory. In the third part is the development of the agricultural surplus from the introduction of export products, such as the oil and wine, the construction of productive spaces and the definition of the model of settlement from the political integration of the indigenous communities.
