Résumé

This Thesis has as a main goal to research the social changes developed in the upper part of Andalusia between 1850 and 1930 from the demographic, economic and social transformations produced in the bosom of a family, the basic unit of social reproduction that works as responsible of the element that perpetuate the social continuity, in the same time that reinvent continuously different strategies to adapt itself to the main changes happened in this period. The research is articulated in several chapters catalogued as its thematic direction, but there is also a central idea that award unity to this research: the evolution of the social differences from the gender and class perspective, a process that shelter preferential mechanism in the bosom of the families as the consequence of the increase of the social inequality that will be verified in the agricultural communities analysed in this Thesis
