Abstract

During this educational stage, the physical education (PE) is an important class to work the coeducation due to evident physical inequalities. The general aim of this work is to know the thinking of teachers on coeducation and the effects on the students through the classes of PE. So, we use our representative samples of PE teachers and the students of secondary education. The study has been using a descriptive methodology of transverse nature, through the use of scale, CPIDEF and CACEF instruments. According to the opinion of the students, the results showed that there are significant differences in equal treatment based on sex, age, classes and types of education centre. There are also significant differences in relation to the perception of discrimination. The teacher is aware of the importance of coeducation in the educational process too and he uses different methodological strategies in order to work for an equal treatment for all students.
