Abstract

The present research study focuses on violence in Paraguay as seen by students, teachers and parents in the secondary school sector. The study aims at showing the reality about the environment in which relationships occur in schools in detail so as to put forth proposals that will improve coexistence in the school environment. This research work consists of an empirical study, following a pragmatic methodology and evaluative research methods, has gathered data from a sample of the aforementioned populations. For the fulfilment of the study’s objective, three scaled questionnaires and an open-ended questionnaire have been produced and validated. Analysis of the data gathered through the procedures described above has born the amount of eighty two conclusions which have in turn produced realistic and innovative proposals.
