Abstract
The study presents an analysis of Mathematics teaching materials produced by the Mathematics Education Study Group at the PROEJA – The National Program for Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education in the Form of Youths and Adults at the Federal Institute of the state of Espírito Santo, Vitória, Brazil. The purpose of the study is to analyze the impact of the material on PROEJA students. In order to carry on the analysis, an evaluative research has been conducted under the Stufflebeam and Skhinfield CIPP evaluation model as a reference. The model includes four analysis levels: Context; Input; Process and Product. Data collection was done through running closed and open questionnaires with students and teachers, and interviews with the program coordination staff. Following, there is a synthesis of the most relevant data according to the different perceptions. Finally, we establish a set of the emerging positive and negative impacts from the analysis.
