Abstract

This article presents an artistic research project conducted in the province of Jaén, focusing on olive oil culture and its impact on women's lives from a gender perspective. Thanks to funding from the Institute of Giennese Studies, an audiovisual and graphic work has been produced, documenting the relationship between territorial identity and the female body in the context of the olive grove. The study explores how women have been key players in the olive economy, also addressing changes in family and labor dynamics, and their cultural impact.
